NOVUS Health

The client // then
In 2022, NOVUS Health was an ambitious idea for a compassionate, integrated health clinic for underserved groups within the St. Louis metropolitan region. They had a building and a government grant, but they needed a name and a brand that could embody their vision.

The project
First, my team and I brought the brand to life with the name “NOVUS” and a bold and friendly logo design. The emphasis on “us” speaks to how NOVUS collaborates with patients to meet their overall health goals.
Then we extended the brand into a suite of corporate identity materials: stationery banners, tents, posters, apparel and swag. We designed the signage for the building and helped kick everything off with a “Coming Out” party.
On the digital side, I built a website with features like a patient portal, appointment scheduling integration, donation form, events calendar and landing pages for specialized services. Since the launch, I’ve also managed the NOVUS social media accounts to keep patients informed of services and events at the clinic.
Most recently, I’ve been art directing videos for marketing and social media that focus on the integrated healthcare services NOVUS offers.
The client // now
In two years, NOVUS Health has grown from welcoming 70 new patients in a year to more than 300 new patients in 2023. The clinic served over 3,400 people through outreach and clinic programs in 2023, and their total visit count for STI prevention services increased to more than 1,200 visits per year.
They have continued to expand their service offerings to provide more equitable access to primary and specialty care and STI prevention services, as well as everything from pharmacy services and dentistry to case work and a food pantry program.
